Positive aspects of the product (pros): Affordable alternative to 77mm, terrific build and quality
Cons: Some fringing at 2.4

I bought this lens when it became clear that I was never going to be able to afford the 77mm. It took a while to get used to using this lens; it has a built-in hood, and you have to be conscious of it and make sure it's extended all the way out and evenly or pushed all the way in. The ltd lenses are really beautiful, made of high-quality material. I've had much better results using it outside at f/4 then inside at f/2.4, but I haven't had a lot of use in doors. As a portrait lens it's one of the best I've ever used.
