Last weekend I decided to only use my FA 50 f/1.4 on the K20D to try and focus (no pun intended) more on composition. I took a few impromptu shots of my four-month old grandson Jaxon.

Both were hand held using daylight from a window to the left of the image with the camera set at iso 400.

Mike, you've got a lot to be proud of there. He is almost as cute as my two granddaughters...

Very nice shots, you have a handsome grandson. Mine is coming up on 3 yrs old and I'm babysitting tomorrow, I expect I'll be exhausted by the time his parents come pick him up...

Scott,

I know the feeling - we had the 2 yr old and the 4 month old for a week and two days after they went back we went out of town to babysit for the weekend - could sleep for a week. The best was that we had the eleven year old with us and she is a great help.
