exif data
«
on:

I recently bought the K20d (secondhand) and I notice that the exif data are not displayed (in a photobrowser) when I shoot in RAW(dng). Once I save the pictures in jpeg, the data are shown.
I also own a K10d and there the exif data do appear in RAW(dng).
Have I missed a setting or ............ ?
The pentax photo laboratory doesn't display a preview either. Very strange. I AM using the latest firmware.

Most probably your photobrowser (which one) does not understand the K20d raw data fully. I use Picasa and that does show the EXIF (it doesn't show full EXIF once I converted them with SilkyPix to TIF and shows them again when I save the worked up JPG from Photoshop).

You can download Photome free
here
. It will read exif data from most file formats. Hope this helps.
