Outstanding image, Jim!  It has a very surreal, other-world feel to it... I love it!

A worthy winner (at least the version that isn't horizontally condensed such as that above Wink).

As I said earlier, I did vote for this shot but had my reservations. I cannot believe the halo around the tree and bushes; also the reflections in the water on the right are brighter than the sky above, which is quite unlikely. Also the sky is a little bit too greyish for my taste (and I think that it is due to post processing).

But even with these minor niggles it is a classy shot and I like the composition and the tranquil scenery.
Well done Jimbo!

Prieni... First, the right was brigher as that was the side the sun rise was at. I halo around the tree does show up more in the modified version but still learning the PP side. I feathered the trees to the left that gave a slight halo effect on just above. I was kind of stuck with the sky given the split lighting I was dealing with and the two filters I was using. I appreciate your commenting and feed backs as it can only improve my photo's in the future. All comments are correct and well stated. cheers JIM

Thank you Tagov. I may take a break from this for awhile well I improve over all images including PP. It was funny I choose this one as now that I look at others. My goal each time I go out is to learn more by better understanding my equipment and picking up helpful suggestions on this and other forums. take care and thank you again. JIM
